Vineyard Market is Back!

We are delighted to let you know that we are relaunching our market on the first Saturday in September. We believe restrictions will have eased sufficiently by then to allow us run the market safely for all who attend.

As you’re aware, Vineyard Market raises funds for Vineyard Compassion. Over the past 16 months the charity has responded to the needs emerging in the community due to the COVID crisis. Foodbank demand soared by 388% during the first month of the crisis - April 2021; a total of 3,500 emergency food boxes were prepared and distributed to those in financial difficulty during the first 4 months in partnership with the council.

Counselling and emotional support increased by 232% and the RESET social supermarket needed to triple in size to meet demand. Thank you for supporting Vineyard Market over the past number of years which has enabled us to respond rapidly to meet local needs.

We are so grateful our traders and community for your continued support and understanding over the time have not been able to run the market. Now over the coming months, we will be preparing the site to welcome ALL our market areas back again.

Our hope is that restrictions will ease further and this will allow all of us to have an enjoyable but safe day together - we cannot wait to see old and new friends alike.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 4th September.

We will of course, be keeping in line with current government guidance at the time.
